Improve posture, balance, flexibility, range of motion, and muscle strength with Yoga for Osteoporosis. Gail will utilize techniques from Iyengar yoga and the Fishman Method, both demonstrated to increase bone mass over time. With consistent practice benefits may include: reduced pain, lower risk of bone fractures, and increased body awareness and flexibility.
What to expect: 
  • Standing and seated postures to improve flexibility and strengthen the body: Participants should be comfortable getting up and down from a folding chair unassisted
  • Meditation to revitalize the body through stress reduction
  • Breathing exercises to increase mindfulness, aiding in minimizing injuries and falls.
