The Absolute Beginner Series is a nuts and bolts introduction to the incredible practice of vinyasa flow yoga. 
Do you want to incorporate yoga into your life but lack motivation or consistency?
Do you feel intimidated by the thought of walking into a yoga class?
Coming back to yoga after a break?
This for you!!
Develop the confidence and knowledge to walk into any studio or class situation and know how to practice in a way that is supportive of your body regardless of ability or physicality. Cultivate a home practice while building community. Better understand what to look for and what questions to ask when discerning which class, styles of yoga, teachers, and communities are most supportive and in alignment with your practice. 
Each weekly class is structured to allow plenty of time for asana (poses) practice and practical application of concepts as well as time for discussion and Q & A. 

Each week’s workshop class will include:
    • intro and practice of foundational yoga postures (asana) - beginning with and intro to the Sun Salutation sequence and many of its variations
    • intro to yogic philosophy and history and their modern-day practical applications
    • alignment and pose variations to support your practice
    • intro to mindfulness and meditation
    • intro to practical breathing techniques
    • how vocal toning (mantra) it supports your nervous system
    • intro to the concept and experience of the "energy body"
